this will be a quick update as it is almost 11 pm and i’ve got a 2 hr drive ahead of me tomorrow to go spend the weekend with my OH – I am so excited! Community and friends are what await. yay! Today was a relaxing day spent watching Julie and Julia (i forgot about the inuendo scenes, bummer!) , going to The Shamrock (a store all about decorations for chrismas), dinner at Cafe’ Yumm and browsing Home Goods/TJMAXX , and ended the day with watching Fiddler on the Roof – all in the company of a dear childhood friend.
But i have news – i actually wrote on my book last night! i hadn’t for about a week (horrible i know!) but i am newly determined to keep going even though i am woefully behind on word count.
i am now up to 9 pages and 4,012 words.
like i said, woefully behind. but as i am writing about my own struggles, well, i hit a bit of blues from it so i took a break. good for me. bad for word count.
i am hoping to get some writing time in tomorrow between when i get to my destination and when my OH gets done with work. I am really hoping to write 1,000 words if not more.
